1. Subscription Payments
For Schools:
- All subscription payments are non-refundable once the service has been activated.
- Schools may cancel their subscription at any time, but the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds will not be issued for unused portions of a subscription period.
For Parents:
- The Fees Planner is a tool for financial planning and does not involve direct payments to WardConnect. As such, no refunds are applicable.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be issued under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate Payments: If a user is charged more than once for the same service, a refund for the duplicate payment will be issued.
- Technical Issues: If technical errors caused by WardConnect prevent access to the platform for an extended period, users may be eligible for a prorated refund.
- Unauthorized Charges: If unauthorized charges are made to your account due to errors on our part, a refund will be processed upon verification.
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, users must:
- Submit a request via email to info@wardconnectapp.com with the following details:
- Full name
- Account details
- Reason for refund request
- Proof of payment (e.g., transaction ID, receipt)
- Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-7 business days, and users will be notified of the outcome.
4. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
5. Non-Refundable Services
Refunds will not be issued for the following:
- Subscription cancellations made after the billing period has started.
- Fees related to third-party services linked to WardConnect.
- Payments made through the Fees Planner, as WardConnect does not handle direct payments for school fees.
6. Changes to Refund Policy
WardConnect reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the platform or via email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
